  12. 1 lb. butter
  13. 3 cups of sugar
  14. 3 cups of plain flour
  15. 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  16. l teaspoon of baking powder
  17. l tablespoon of vanilla flavor

  19. Eggs and butter blend well together if left out at room temperature before
  20. using.

  22. Blend eggs, butter, and sugar together alternately adding flour.  Add remaining
  23. ingredients.  Beat well.  Cook for approximately 1 hour and twenty minutes at
  24. 325.
